Control Module: Description and Operation

PURPOSE/OPERATION
The Transmission Control Module (TCM) receives various sensor signals and determines the running conditions of the vehicle. It then sends control signals to each solenoid according to the preset gearshift characteristic data lockup operation data and transfer case.
