Cruise Control Command Switch
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect cruise control command switch harness connector located on steering column. Turn off SET/COAST switch. Check resistance between switch harness connector terminals No. 1 and 3. See Fig 1
. If resistance is greater than 1 megohm, go to next step. If resistance is not greater than 1 megohm, replace cruise control command switch.
- Turn on RESUME/ACCEL switch. Check resistance between switch harness connector terminals No. 1 and 3. See Fig 1
. If resistance is less than 10 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not less than 10 ohms, replace cruise control command switch.
- Turn off RESUME/ACCEL switch. Check resistance between switch harness connector terminals No. 1 and 3. If resistance is greater than one megohm, perform DTC 14 & 22 tests. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
. If resistance is not greater than one megohm, replace cruise control command switch.
