Function Test

Disconnect vacuum hose from actuator. Using a hand-held vacuum pump, apply vacuum (12 in. Hg) to actuator. If throttle does not fully open, replace actuator. If throttle fully opens, remove vacuum supply from actuator. If throttle does not close smoothly and quickly, replace actuator. If throttle closes, actuator is okay.
