Control Circuit

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect cruise control main switch harness connector. Turn cruise control main switch to ON position. Using a voltmeter, measure voltage between cruise control main switch terminal No. 1 and chassis ground. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair cruise control main switch wiring harness as necessary. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
  2. Turn cruise control main switch to OFF position. Measure resistance between cruise control main switch terminal No. 6 and chassis ground. If resistance is less than 10 ohms, replace cruise control module. If resistance is more than 10 ohms, repair cruise control main switch wiring harness as necessary.
