Arming System: Notes

NOTE:
The system can be armed even if windows are open.
Remove key from ignition switch. Close all windows. Close and lock all doors and rear gate. Push transmitter's LOCK button. The horn will chirp once and the parking lights will flash once. Confirm that security indicator light blinks slowly (once every 2 seconds). If any door or rear gate is not properly closed, the system warns driver by sounding horn 3 times, flashing parking lights 3 times, and flashing security indicator rapidly. When door or rear gate is closed, it will automatically lock and security system will immediately activate. When system is armed, the indicator light will continue to blink every 2 seconds until the system is disarmed.
