Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Subaru Outback and 2002 Subaru Legacy. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect ground cable from battery.
  2. Remove glove box. See Figure .
  3. Remove nut. Remove keyless entry control module (B) and the other electrical control module (A) while disconnecting the connector. See Fig 1 .
  4. Disconnect keyless entry control module and the other electrical control module.
  5. Install in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
