Section 78 (HVAC): Compressor: Removal

Perform the compressor oil return operation. See OPERATION , Compressor Oil.
Turn A/C switch OFF and stop the engine.
Using refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. See OPERATION , Refrigerant Recovery Procedure.
Disconnect the ground terminal from battery.
Remove the V-belt. V-BELT (H4SO) or V-BELT (H4DOTC).
Remove the generator, see REMOVAL , Generator
Remove the low-pressure hose and high-pressure hose.

Disconnect the compressor harness from body harness.
Loosen the bolts to remove compressor bracket.

Remove the bolts and then separate compressor and bracket.
