Deleting Old Transmitter Codes

  1. The keyless entry system's control unit has four memory locations to store transmitter codes, giving it the ability to operate with up to four transmitters. If a transmitter is lost, the lost transmitter's code remains in memory. For security reasons, delete this code from memory.
  2. To delete old transmitter codes, program all four transmitter codes into the system. If there's only one transmitter, program it four times. If there are 2 current transmitters, program each twice. If there are 3 current transmitters, program 2 of the transmitters once and the third one, twice. This process will leave only current transmitter codes in the system's memory.
