Section 108 (HVAC System): Compressor: Removal

Perform the compressor oil return operation. Refer to OPERATION .
Turn A/C switch OFF and stop the engine.
Using refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery Procedure .
Disconnect the ground terminal from battery.
Remove the V-belt. For non-turbo engine, refer to V-BELT . For turbo engine, refer to V-BELT .
Remove the generator. Refer to GENERATOR .
Remove the low-pressure hose and high-pressure hose.

Disconnect the compressor harness from body harness.
Loosen the bolts to remove compressor bracket.

Remove the bolts and then separate compressor and bracket.
