Intake Manifold: Disassembly
- Disconnect engine ground terminal from intake manifold.

- Remove ignition coil and ignitor assembly. Refer to
REMOVAL

- Remove throttle body. Refer to
THROTTLE BODY .
- Remove EGR valve. Refer to
EGR VALVE .
- Remove PCV pipe.

- Disconnect pressure regulator vacuum hose from intake manifold.

- Remove fuel pipe protector LH.

- Disconnect connector (A) from fuel injector.
- Remove harness band (B) which holds engine harness onto injector pipe.

- Remove tumble generator valve actuator. Refer to
TUMBLE GENERATOR VALVE ACTUATOR .
- Remove purge control solenoid valve. Refer to
REMOVAL
, Purge Control Solenoid Valve.
- Remove harness bands which hold engine harness onto intake manifold.

- Remove engine harness from intake manifold.
- Remove bolt which installs injector pipe on intake manifold as shown in figure.

- Remove fuel injectors.
- Loosen the clamp which holds fuel injector pipe RH onto fuel hose, and disconnect the pipe from fuel hose.

- Loosen the clamp which holds fuel injector pipe LH onto fuel hose, and disconnect the pipe from fuel hose.

- Remove bolt which installs fuel pipe on intake manifold.

- Remove intake manifold RH from tumble generator valve assembly.

- Similarly, remove intake manifold LH.
