Select Lever: Removal

Set the vehicle on a lift.
Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
Move the select lever to "N" position
Lift-up the vehicle.
Remove the rear exhaust pipe and muffler.
Except 2.5 L U5 model

Refer to REMOVAL , Rear Exhaust Pipe and REMOVAL , Muffler.

2.5 L U5 model

Refer to REMOVAL , Rear Exhaust Pipe and REMOVAL , Muffler.

3.0 L model

Refer to REMOVAL , Rear Exhaust Pipe and REMOVAL , Muffler.

TURBO model

Refer to REMOVAL , Rear Exhaust Pipe and REMOVAL , Muffler.
Remove the heat shield cover. (If equipped)
Disconnect the cable from select lever, and then remove the cable bracket.

Lower the vehicle.
Remove the console box. Refer to REMOVAL , Console Box.
Disconnect the connectors, then remove the four bolts to take out the select lever assembly from body.
