Neutral Position Switch: Inspection

Measure the neutral position switch resistance.

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

Gear shift position	Terminal No.	Specified resistance
Neutral position	1 and 2	Less than 1 ohm
Other positions	1 and 2	More than 1 Mohm

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

Gear shift position	Terminal No.	Specified resistance
Neutral position	1 and 3	Less than 1 ohm
Other positions	1 and 3	More than 1 Mohm

If NG, replace the neutral position switch.
