Main Switch
- Remove the main switch. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Power Window Control Switch. >
- Turn the window lock switch to UNLOCK.
- Connect the battery and main switch as shown in the figure below.
- Measure the main switch resistance.TERMINAL SWITCH POSITION CHART
Switch position Terminal No. Standard Driver's side UP 13 and 2, 1 and 5 Less than 1 Ω OFF 1 and 5
2 and 5Less than 1 Ω DOWN 13 and 1, 2 and 5 Less than 1 Ω AUTO DOWN 13 and 1, 2 and 5 Less than 1 Ω Front passenger's side UP 13 and 6, 7 and 5 Less than 1 Ω OFF 5 and 6
5 and 7Less than 1 Ω DOWN 13 and 7, 6 and 5 Less than 1 Ω Rear LH UP 11 and 13, 10 and 5 Less than 1 Ω OFF 5 and 11
5 and 10Less than 1 Ω DOWN 13 and 10, 11 and 5 Less than 1 Ω Rear RH UP 13 and 16, 15 and 5 Less than 1 Ω OFF 5 and 15
5 and 16Less than 1 Ω DOWN 13 and 15,16 and 5 Less than 1 Ω - If NG, replace the main switch.
