Engine Control Module (ECM): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Subaru Impreza. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:
  • When replacing ECM, be careful not to use the wrong spec. ECM to avoid any damage to the fuel injection system.
  • When replacing ECM, be careful not to damage the harnesses and connectors.
  • When the ECM has been replaced, be sure to perform the registration of VIN. Refer to OPERATION .
