Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.

  2. Remove the generator. Refer to REMOVAL , Generator.
  3. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT , REPLACEMENT, Engine Coolant.
  4. Disconnect the connectors from the engine coolant temperature sensor.

  5. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.
