Front Regulator and Motor Assembly: Removal

  1. Remove the front door trim. < Refer to FRONT DOOR , REMOVAL, Door Trim. >
  2. Remove the sealing cover.
    CAUTION:
    • Carefully remove the butyl tape. Excessive force will easily break the cover.
    • If cover gets broken, replace it with a new part.

  3. Remove the inner pad.
  4. Attach the battery ground cable and power window switch and turn the ignition to ON.
  5. Remove the front door glass.
    1. Operate the power window switch to move the front door glass to the position where the mounting bolts can be seen.
    2. Remove the bolt.

    3. While tilting the glass, remove the windshield glass.
      CAUTION: Avoid impact and damage to the glass.

  6. Remove the front regulator and motor assembly.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the bolts, and then remove the front regulator and motor assembly.
