Brake Control Brake Actuator Assembly: Removal
- Precautions for brake pipe work
(Refer to BRAKE LINE )
- Draining of brake fluidCAUTION: Do not let brake fluid come into contact with the painted surface. If it happens, wash it out immediately.
- Removal of front tire LH
- Removal of front mud guard LH (Refer to WASHER MOTOR )
- Removal of brake actuator Assembly W/bracket
- Disconnect the harness clamp from the bracket.
- Disconnect the harness clamp from the bracket.
- Disconnect the cooler pipe from the clamp.
- Disconnect the clamp from the wiring harness of the speed sensor FR LH.
- Press the claw on the vehicle wiring harness connector to remove the engaging part, and then rotate the lock lever upward to unlock.
- Disconnect the vehicle wiring harness connector from the brake actuator Assembly.
- Using a flare-nut wrench, disconnect 2 brake tubes.CAUTION: Protect the connector surface from contact with brake fluid.
- Using a flare-nut wrench, disconnect 4 brake tubes.CAUTION: Protect the connector surface from contact with brake fluid.
- Remove the bolt from the brake actuator Assembly W/bracket.
- Remove 3 bolts from the brake actuator Assembly W/bracket.
- Remove the brake actuator Assembly W/bracket from the body.CAUTION: Do not bend or damage the brake tubes.
