Checking/Clearing Diagnostic Codes

Preparation before inspection
1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Checking diagnostic codes (read from the SSM3)
1. With IG OFF, connect SSM3 to DLC3.
2. Turn IG to ON, and turn on the SSM3.
3. Follow the SSM3 display and operate, and select [Each System Check]→[Power Window]→[DTC Check].
4. Check the diagnostic codes.
Clearing diagnostic code records (Cleared by the SSM3)
1. With IG OFF, connect SSM3 to DLC3.
2. Turn IG to ON, and turn on the SSM3.
3. Follow the SSM3 display and operate, and select [Each System Check]→[Power Window]→[Memory Clear] and delete DTC.
4. Inspect the diagnosis codes again, and check that the malfunction code was cleared, and that the normal code is displayed.
  CAUTION:
  - If you can't clear it, start over from IG OFF status.
  - Until the cause is identified, do not perform clearing codes with the SSM3.
