Circuit description

This DTC is output when a problem is detected in the water-exposure detection circuit of the smart key ECM assembly (collation ECM).

B2277 The water-exposure detection circuit of the collation ECM (smart key ECM assembly) detects exposure to water (1-trip detection logic(1)).
  • Water-exposure of the collation ECM (smart key ECM assembly)
  • Collation ECM (smart key ECM assembly)
 After connecting the battery cable, wait 300 seconds.
(1) The code is output only when the problem is found and the engine switch is on (IG).

Cannot turn off or start the engine. Changing the power mode to on (IG) and driving the starter relay is prohibited.
