Push Button Ignition Switch: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents. >
  2. Remove the cover assembly - instrument panel LWR driver. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Instrument Panel Lower Cover. >
  3. Remove the visor assembly - lower.
    1. Release the clips and claws.
    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the visor assembly - lower.
    CAUTION:
    • Being careful not to damage the visor assembly - lower, slowly remove the clips and claws one by one from the right and left edges of visor assembly - lower.
    • When using a clip remover, wrap it with protective tape or cloth.

  4. Remove the push button ignition switch.
    1. Release the claws and remove the push button ignition switch from the visor assembly - lower.
