Rear Lock Button: Removal

NOTE:
- The rear lock button is integrated with the switch - opener rear gate.
- Open the panel - rear gate before disconnecting the ground terminal from battery sensor.
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. <Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents.>
- Remove the trim panel - rear gate. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Gate Trim.>
- Remove the garnish assembly - rear gate. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Gate Garnish.>
- Remove the rear lock button.
- Remove the garnish switch bracket from the garnish assembly - rear gate.
- Release the locks at both ends of the button - opener rear gate by pushing them with a flat tip screwdriver, and remove the button - opener rear gate.
- Remove the screws and detach the rear lock button.
