DIAGNOSTICS PROCEDURE

| 1 CHECK BODY INTEGRATED UNIT
. Read the DTC of body integrated unit using Subaru Select Monitor.
NOTE:

Is DTC displayed? | Perform the diagnosis according to DTC. | Go to step 2 . |
| 2 CHECK CURRENT DATA
. Display the following items using Subaru Select Monitor.

Is the input signal normal? | Go to step 3 . | Check the defective part. |
| 3 CHECK FUSE
. Check the headlight HI fuse (LH/RH). <Ref. to RELAY AND FUSE .> |
Is the fuse OK? | Go to step 4 . | Replace the fuse. |
4 CHECK HEADLIGHT ILLUMINATION

Does the headlight (high beam) illuminate? | Go to step 5 . | Check the combination switch (light) and headlight bulb. |
| 5 CHECK RELAY
. Check the daytime running light relay (LH/RH) and headlight HI relay (LO/HI). <Ref. to RELAY AND FUSE .> |
Is each relay normal? | Go to step 6 . | Replace the relay. |
| 6 CHECK DAYTIME RUNNING RESISTOR
. Check the daytime running resistor. <Ref. to INSPECTION , Day Time Running Resistor.> |
Does the daytime running resistor normal? | Go to step 7 . | Replace the daytime running resistor. |
7 CHECK HARNESS
