Power Steering Computer: Installation

Correct handling and precautions for operation. (Refer to PRECAUTIONS )
Power steering computer bracket installation.
1. Install the power steering computer bracket in place with the four screws.
  Standard value: T=3.5N.m {36kgf.cm} {2.6ft.lbf}
Install the power steering computer assembly.
1. Install the power steering computer assembly in place with 2 bolts.
  Standard value: T=10N.m {102kgf.cm} {7.4 ft.lbf}
2. Connect the three connectors to the power steering computer assembly.
3. Ensure that the connectors are securely connected to the power steering computer assembly.

  NOTE: As shown in the figure, fold down the connector lock lever to establish a connection and push in the lock for the lock lever securely.
4. Install the wiring harness clamp to the power steering computer bracket.
Install the instrument panel junction block assembly (Refer to INSTALLATION )
Steering zero point calibration
1. Always perform a steering zero point calibration after replacing the power steering computer assembly. (Refer to WORK SUPPORT )
