Inspection steps

Check clutch switch.
1. Check the clutch switch.
  Criteria: The switch and its installation position is correct.
NG: Replace the switch main body or adjust its installation position.

OK: Go to Next Step

Check clutch switch circuit.

Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Disconnect the clutch switch connector.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Measure the voltage between connector terminal and chassis ground.

VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

Inspection terminals	Inspection conditions	Standard value
A21-1 - chassis ground	Always	10V or more

NG: Check the fuse, and repair or replace the harness.

OK: Go to Next Step

Check clutch switch circuit.

Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Disconnect the ECM connector.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Measure the resistance between ECM connector and clutch switch.

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION (OPEN CIRCUIT CHECK)

Inspection terminals	Inspection conditions	Standard value
A33-15 (CLT) - A21-2	Always	Less than 10 Ω

NG: Repair or replace the harness.

OK: Replace the ECM.
