Fuel Pump Control Unit: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. <Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents.>
  2. Remove the trunk trim panel assembly - side on the RH side. (Sedan model) <Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Quarter Trim.>
  3. Remove the right side rear quarter trim. (OUTBACK model) <Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Quarter Trim.>
  4. Remove the fuel pump control unit.
    • Sedan model

    • OUTBACK model

  5. Disconnect the connector from fuel pump control unit.
