The Screen Becomes Completely Black And Frozen Without Completing Reprogramming
Error detection contents:
- The cockpit control module detected the interruption of installation.
- The cockpit control module detected the interruption of completion notification.
- The cockpit control module detected that the completion notification has failed.

Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION
- CHECK DTC
.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Read the DTC of [Cockpit Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
Are any DTCs displayed? (Current code)
Yes : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>LIST
No : Go to 2.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the connector (i102) of the cockpit control module.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Using the tester, measure the voltage between cockpit control module connector (i102) and chassis ground.

(i102) No. 3 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
(i102) No. 4 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
(i102) No. 9 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
Is the voltage 12 V or more?
Yes : Go to 3.
No : Repair the power supply circuit.
- CHECK CANCEL BUTTON

Ask the customer whether he/she pressed the cancel button during reprogramming.
Was the cancel button pressed? (Check if the customer interrupted intentionally.)
Yes : Perform reprogramming again.
No : Go to 4.
- INTERVIEW REGARDING THE SERVER STATUS DURING REPROGRAMMING
.
Ask the customer if "No server response." was displayed on the monitor during reprogramming.
Was "No server response." displayed?
Yes : When the user had a problem, there was a failure with FOTA server. When FOTA server returns to normal operation, perform reprogramming again.
No : Perform reprogramming again. If reprogramming cannot be performed,
Replace the cockpit control module. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>COCKPIT DISPLAY
