The Screen Becomes Completely Black And Frozen Without Completing Reprogramming

Error detection contents:

The cockpit control module detected the interruption of installation.
The cockpit control module detected the interruption of completion notification.
The cockpit control module detected that the completion notification has failed.

CAUTION:

Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION

CHECK DTC .
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
2. Read the DTC of [Cockpit Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
Are any DTCs displayed? (Current code)

Yes : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>LIST

No : Go to 2.
CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT .
1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2. Disconnect the connector (i102) of the cockpit control module.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
4. Using the tester, measure the voltage between cockpit control module connector (i102) and chassis ground.

  (i102) No. 4 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
  
  (i102) No. 9 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
Is the voltage 12 V or more?

Yes : Go to 3.

No : Repair the power supply circuit.
CHECK CANCEL BUTTON .
Ask the customer whether he/she pressed the cancel button during reprogramming.

Was the cancel button pressed? (Check if the customer interrupted intentionally.)

Yes : Perform reprogramming again.

No : Go to 4.
INTERVIEW REGARDING THE SERVER STATUS DURING REPROGRAMMING .
Ask the customer if "No server response." was displayed on the monitor during reprogramming.

Was "No server response." displayed?

Yes : When the user had a problem, there was a failure with FOTA server. When FOTA server returns to normal operation, perform reprogramming again.

No : Perform reprogramming again. If reprogramming cannot be performed,

Replace the cockpit control module. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>COCKPIT DISPLAY
