Software Update
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2022 Subaru WRX. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Connect the USB drive containing valid software update files for the cockpit control module, and then click "Software Update" to display updatable ECMs.
Check the software version, and select OK to perform software update.
Follow the instructions on the screen, and start the vehicle again as necessary.
When ACC is turned off, the switch is reset to initial setting (OFF) unless the user actively turns the switch to OFF.

- V-CPU
- DSP
- Radio Tuner
- CID
- SXM
- MAP (only for models with navigation)
NOTE:
- The user cannot operate the information bar area, temperature adjustment, and home switch.
- CCM has two program partitions.
- One is a foreground partition (program execution partition), and the other is a background partition (mirror partition).
- Upon completion of software update, the new program is copied from the foreground partition to the background partition for the preparation of the next update.
- During execution of this process, the user cannot start another software update.
