Inspection steps
CAUTION:
Always perform a steering zero point calibration after replacing the power steering computer ASSY.
- Diagnosis code check
- Use the SSM4 to confirm that C1581 is not output.
Criteria: C1581 is not output.
OK: Go to next step
NG: Go to "CAN communication system (How to troubleshoot)" (Refer to HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT ) and "Meter & gauge system (How to troubleshoot)" (Refer to HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT )
- Use the SSM4 to confirm that C1581 is not output.
- Assist Map Confirmation
- Use the SSM4 to confirm that an assist map inconsistent with the vehicle information is not written. (Refer to
WORK SUPPORT )
OK: Go to next step
NG: Functioning properly (Clear the memory.)
Perform [Assist Map Clear] (Refer to WORK SUPPORT ).
