Initialization Procedures

NOTE:
  • System calibration is necessary for driver's side seat with memory function only.
  • The records inside the unit can be initialized by performing all the initialization procedures 1) to 4), irrespective of order.
  • When the following conditions are met, the initialization is canceled even though the procedure is carried out halfway.
    • Interval between each initialization procedure of 1) to 4) exceeds 10 seconds.
    • If any of initialization procedures 1) to 4) are not performed.
    • If the battery runs out or the voltage to the seat position memory Control Module falls out of the operation range (less than 9 V or 16 V or more) during initialization.
  1. Move the seat rearward using the slide switch, and keep the slide switch pressed (for approx. three seconds) until the buzzer sounds once.
  2. Move the seat downward using the tilt switch, and keep the tilt switch pressed (for approx. three seconds) until the buzzer sounds once.
  3. Move the seat downward using the lifter switch, and keep the lifter switch pressed (for approx. three seconds) until the buzzer sounds once.
  4. Tilt the seat back forward using the reclining switch, and keep the reclining switch pressed (for approx. three seconds) until the buzzer sounds once.
  5. If the initialization is completed, the buzzer sounds three times after completing the last operation and turning the switch to ON and to OFF.
