Seat Ventilation Control Module

CAUTION:

Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Refer to AIRBAG SYSTEM>General Description>CAUTION .
The load sensor of the occupant detection system is fixed to the cushion frame assembly. Never remove the load sensor from the cushion frame assembly. The following parts can be replaced as a single unit.
- Cushion pad
- Cushion cover
- Seat harness
When the cushion frame assembly of the passenger's seat is replaced, the seat harness and load sensor are assembled. When replacing the cushion frame assembly, do not touch the load sensor to avoid electrical damage.
When removing or replacing the seat, perform "Occupant Detection System Inspection" after installing the seat to check if the occupant detection system operates normally, Refer to PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION>PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION (PDI) PROCEDURE>SEAT .
For model with door mirror interlocked seat position memory, initialize the ECM seat memory. Refer to SEATS>Power Seat System>ADJUSTMENT .
Regarding the passenger's seat, perform [Rezeroing] for the occupant detection system. Refer to AIRBAG (DIAGNOSTICS)>Rezero .

Install the seat ventilation Control Module.
CAUTION: Set the height of rivet crimped section as 3 mm (0.12 in). If the crimp is not sufficient, press them with pliers, etc. in order to avoid interfering with the door trim.

Preparation tool and item:

Hand riveter (corresponding to ø4.0 mm (0.16 in))

Rivet
Assemble the front seat, Refer to SEATS>Front Seat>ASSEMBLY .
Install the front seat. Refer to SEATS>Front Seat>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Perform [Rezeroing] for the occupant detection system. Refer to AIRBAG (DIAGNOSTICS)>Rezero .
