All Models with FlashWrite Reprogramming Capabilities
INTRODUCTION
This Service Information Bulletin is in response to inquiries from the field regarding a pop-up window requiring a Password to be entered that appears when attempting to execute control module reprogramming. In this example, the pop-up as shown below now appears when attempting to reprogram the BIU for the TPMS display as described in TSB 07-129-18 .
When reviewing 07-129-18 , the Applicability table as shown below listing the pack file names lists them with a ".pk2 " extension. We have been informed by SBR that going forward, whenever the file name ends with a.pk2 extension, the Password window shown above will appear. For these files, the required PASSWORD is the corresponding DECRYPTION KEYWORD as listed in FlashWrite for that specific file. In this example, 96D94E99 would be the required Password.
