Outer Mirror Assembly: Installation

CAUTION:
  • Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM"  . Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>General Description>CAUTION .
  • Be careful not to catch the harness in between the parts  .
  1. Install the outer mirror assembly.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  2. Install a new grommet sheet.
  3. Install the front sealing cover.
  4. Install the trim panel front door.
  5. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
