Rear Sub Switch

  1. Measure the resistance between terminals of the switch assembly power window rear sub.

    Preparation tool: 

    Circuit tester

    • Rear seat sub
    Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard
    1 - 2
    5 - 4
    OFF Less than 1 Ω
    2 - 3
    3 - 4
    1 - 3
    3 - 5
    1 MΩ or more
    3 - 2
    5 - 4
    Manual UP Less than 1 Ω
    1 - 2 1 MΩ or more
    1 - 2
    3 - 4
    Manual DOWN Less than 1 Ω
    4 -5 1 MΩ or more
  2. Apply battery voltage between the switch power window sub rear terminals to check lighting condition of illumination inside the switch.
    CAUTION: When applying battery voltage, do not mix up the positive (+) side and the negative (-) side  .
    Incorrect polarity connection may cause LED damage inside the switch  .

    3 (+) - 1 (-)
    3 (+) - 5 (-)
    Apply battery voltage. Light ON
  3. Replace the switch assembly power window rear sub if it is found defective from the inspection result.
