Front Impact Sensor

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>General Description>CAUTION .
  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Remove the front impact sensor.
    1. Remove the clips and remove the air intake duct. (When removing the sensor RH)

    2. Remove the bolt, and remove the front impact sensor.
    3. Disconnect the connector of front impact sensor. Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>Airbag Connector>PROCEDURE>EACH IMPACT SENSOR .
