Each Warning System Does Not Operate
- Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>General Description>CAUTION .
- Check "Check List for Interview", and describe conditions where the malfunctions occurred and information of the customer in detail. Ref. to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>CHECK LIST FOR INTERVIEW .
- CHECK COMBINATION METER
.
Perform the diagnosis for combination meter. Ref. to COMBINATION METER (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
Is the check result OK?
Yes: Go to 2 .
No: Perform the diagnosis according to the inspection for the combination meter.
- CHECK VDC
.
Perform the diagnosis for VDC. Ref. to BRAKE CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
Is the check result OK?
Yes: Go to 3 .
No: Perform the diagnosis according to the inspection for VDC.
- CHECK MFD

Perform the diagnosis for MFD. Ref. to MULTI-FUNCTION DISPLAY (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
Is the check result OK?
Yes: Go to 4 .
No: Perform the diagnosis according to the inspection for MFD.
- CHECK DTC

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Read the DTC of [Driver Monitor] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Are any DTCs displayed? (Current malfunction)
Yes: Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Ref. to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)>LIST .
No: Perform the interview to confirm the occurrence condition in detail. Inform the user that the recognition may not work properly with the current Driver Monitoring System, and have the user decide whether or not to use.
