Lens Hood: Installation

CAUTION:
- When the stereo camera has been removed, always perform the adjustment and inspection of the stereo camera. Ref. to EYESIGHT>CAMERA ADJUSTMENT, INSPECTION
- Do not apply any impact to the stereo camera. Even the slightest shock will deviate the optical axis of the camera, resulting in the loss of normal operation of the camera.
- Do not touch the lenses RH and LH, cooling fan at the center and harness. If they are accidentally touched, or dirt or dust is accumulated on them, be sure to replace the stereo camera.
- Install the lens hood.
- Align the positioning holes of the lens hood assemblies LH and RH to the positioning pin of the camera bracket, and engage the claws.CAUTION:
- Do not press the claws of the lens hood with excessive force in order to avoid damage.
- Do not touch the coating surface of the lens hood. If there are scratches or dirt, the camera adjustment and inspection may not be able to be performed properly.
- Do not hold the insulation portion of the lens hood (a). The elements inside may get damaged, causing malfunction.
- Install the harness to the clamps.
- Connect each connector and install the connector locks.NOTE:
Do not apply excessive tension to the harness.
- Align the positioning holes of the lens hood assemblies LH and RH to the positioning pin of the camera bracket, and engage the claws.
- Install the cover EyeSight. Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA>INSTALLATION
- Install the light assembly map. Ref. to LIGHTING SYSTEM>SPOT MAP LIGHT>INSTALLATION
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
- Perform the heater heating and cooling fan drive test of the lens hood. Ref. to EYESIGHT>LENS HOOD>INSPECTION>HEATER HEATING AND COOLING FAN DRIVE TEST
