Front Hood Lock Assembly: Installation

CAUTION:

Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .

Before installation, check the following items.
- The cable is free from deformation.
- Grease is applied sufficiently to cable joints.
If grease is insufficient, add it as necessary before assembling the cable.
Install the cable assembly front hood.
Adjust and install the lock assembly front hood.
NOTE:
Refer to "ADJUSTMENT" of the lock assembly front hood. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>FRONT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY>ADJUSTMENT .
1. Install the lock assembly front hood with nuts and clips.
  Tightening torque:
  
  33 N.m (3.4 kgf-m, 24.3 ft-lb)
2. Install the connector.
Install the radiator upper bracket.
Tightening torque:

12 N.m (1.2 kgf-m, 8.9 ft-lb)
Install the cover UPR front.
Install the air intake duct.
- H4DO model: Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>AIR INTAKE DUCT>INSTALLATION .
- H4DOTC model: Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>AIR INTAKE DUCT>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Check the clearance and surface level gap between hood COMPL front and bumper face front, and adjust if it is outside the standard value. Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>FRONT HOOD>ADJUSTMENT .
