Central Gateway Control Module: Installation

CAUTION:
  • Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  • When the central gateway Control Module has been replaced, be sure to perform the module registration.
  1. Install the EyeSight security gateway Control Module to the central gateway Control Module. (Models with EyeSight)

    Tightening torque: 

    5 N.m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.7 ft-lb)

  2. Install the central gateway Control Module, and connect the connector.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  3. Install the keyless access Control Module. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>KEYLESS ACCESS CONTROL MODULE>INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the sound control assembly. Ref. to ACTIVE SOUND CONTROL>ACTIVE SOUND CONTROL CONTROL MODULE>INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the panel instrument passenger. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>GLOVE BOX>INSTALLATION>BACK PANEL .
  6. Install the heater control assembly. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>CONTROL PANEL>INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the center information display assembly. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>COCKPIT DISPLAY>INSTALLATION .
  8. Install the panel center UPR assembly and cover assembly instrument panel side RH. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT GRILLE>INSTALLATION>CENTER GRILLE .
  9. Install the cover LWR driver INN. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER COVER>INSTALLATION>INSIDE .
  10. Install the cover center side. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CONSOLE>INSTALLATION .
  11. Install the console box assembly and the boot assembly parking brake. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>INSTALLATION .
  12. Install the pocket COMPL. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>GLOVE BOX>INSTALLATION>GLOVE BOX LID .
  13. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  14. When the central gateway Control Module has been replaced, perform the module registration. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>UNIT REGISTRATION>OPERATION .
