Diagnostic procedure:
- Start the engine.
- Check the readiness code of [Transmission] using Subaru Select Monitor and confirm that the diagnosis is not completed. Ref. to TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS)>ALL READINESS DIAGNOSTIC CODE(S) .
- Shift the select lever to "D" range and wait for 10 seconds.
- With ATF temperature at 20°C (68°F) or below, drive for 10 minutes in any driving pattern in manual mode. (Include driving at a constant speed for 10 seconds or more continuously at each gear or accelerating driving.)WARNING: At malfunctioning conditions, phenomena that are different from normal (occurrence of poor acceleration and neutral state during driving) could occur. Therefore, when driving, pay sufficient attention to the safety.CAUTION:
- Always perform the procedure after the engine check and adjustment.
- Observe the legal speed limit.
- Turn the A/C and the cruise control OFF.
- Check the readiness code of [Transmission] using Subaru Select Monitor and confirm that the diagnosis is completed. Ref. to TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS)>ALL READINESS DIAGNOSTIC CODE(S) .
