Select Lever

  1. Check that there is no deformation, cracks or other damages.
  2. Check select lever operation.
    1. Check that the select lever does not shift from "P range" to other ranges.
    2. Check that the select lever shifts from the "P range" to other ranges with the shift lock released.
    3. Start the engine.
    4. Shift to each range and check the following items.
      WARNING: Confirm safety in the vicinity and make sure no person is around the vehicle.
      • The select lever moves smoothly to each range without interference.
      • The position indicator displays correctly.
      • The vehicle moves forward when shifted to "D range".
      • The vehicle moves backward when shifted to "R range".
