Select Lever

Temporarily install the select lever.
Tighten the bolts in the numerical order as shown in the figure.
Tightening torque:

18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)

Install the clip securing the harness.
Connect the connector.
Adjust the select lever. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT LEVER>ADJUSTMENT .
Install the cover center side and the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CONSOLE>INSTALLATION .
Install the grip by turning it clockwise.
NOTE:
- Tighten to the extent where the grip does not rotate during shift operation.
- Align the grip notch (a) toward the rear of the vehicle while turning in the tightening direction.

Install the boot.
Release the shift lock using a screwdriver, etc. and shift the select lever to the "P range".

Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
