Outer Mirror Control Module: Removal

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .

When replacing the outer mirror Control Module, perform the following steps.
1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform [Read Control module setting information] in [Work Support] of [Door Mirror (Driver)] or [Door Mirror (Passenger)]. Ref. to DOOR MIRROR (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION>READ CONTROL MODULE SETTING INFORMATION .
2. According to the display screen, save and close the file.
Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Remove the trim panel front door. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>DOOR TRIM>REMOVAL>FRONT DOOR .
Remove the screws to remove outer mirror Control Module.
