Inrush Current Reduction Relay: Installation

(A) Starter
(B) Cable stay
(C) Adapter harness (G) Cap
(D) ICR relay
(E) Motor cable
(F) Cap

Tightening torque: N.m (kgf-m, ft-lb) 

T1: 6.4 (0.7, 4.7) 

T2: 11 (1.1, 8.1) 

  1. Install the ICR relay.
  2. Install the motor cable.
    CAUTION: Install the motor cable while not letting it contact the magnet switch external parts.
  3. Install the cable stay and adapter harness.
  4. Install the starter. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DOTC)>STARTER>INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
