Front Toe-In
CAUTION:
- The engine must not be running when performing the adjustment.
- When performing the front toe-in adjustment with the steering wheel fixed to the straight-ahead position, be sure to perform the work with the electric power steering assist ON.
The electric power steering assist is set to ON with the engine stopped, by turning ON the ignition switch within 5 seconds after the engine stops .
Adjust the front toe-in to the following value.
A - B = Toe-in
C + D = Toe angle (sum of both wheels)

- Check that the left and right wheel steering angles are within the adjustment value.
- Loosen the tie-rod end lock nuts on the left and right sides.
- Turn the LH and RH tie-rods by the same degrees of angle so that the toe-in is set within the adjustment value.NOTE:
- Both the left and right tie-rods are right-hand threaded. To increase toe-in, turn both tie-rods clockwise by equal amount (viewing from the inside of vehicle).
- When adjusting toe-in, hold the steering gearbox boot as shown to prevent it from being rotated or twisted. If it becomes twisted, straighten it.
- Tighten the tie-rod end lock nut.
Tightening torque:
85 N.m (8.7 kgf-m, 62.7 ft-lb)
