Front ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal

NOTE: Components: Ref. to VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL (VDC)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR .
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the front wheels. Ref. to WHEEL AND TIRE SYSTEM>TIRE AND WHEEL>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the sensor sub assembly front.
    CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to damage the sensor.
    • Do not apply excessive force to the sensor harness
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the harness clamp and grommet.

    3. Remove the bolt.
    4. Remove the sensor sub assembly front.
