Front impact sensor
CAUTION:
Refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" before handling the airbag system components. Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
- Before installation, inspect the following items and replace any faulty part with a new part.
- Front impact sensor is free from damage.
- Connector is free from damage.
- Using a new bolt, install Front impact sensor.CAUTION: When installing the sensor, insert the set pin on the backside of the sensor into the hole on the body side securely.
Tightening torque:
13 N.m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.6 ft-lb)
- Install the air intake duct. (When removing the sensor RH)
- H4DO model: Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>AIR INTAKE DUCT>INSTALLATION .
- H4DOTC model: Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>AIR INTAKE DUCT>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
