Clearing Codes

Ensure ignition switch is in the "OFF" position. All trouble codes will be erased from ECM memory if any of the following conditions occur:

• Battery cable is removed from battery.
• 15-amp fuse for taillight circuit is removed.
• ECM ground wire is disconnected.
• ECM wire harness connector is removed.
