RWAL System Electrical Circuit Check

  1. Remove RWAL ECM from under dash so rear of harness connector can be accessed with a DVOM. See RWAL ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  2. Check voltage at each terminal of connector under conditions described in RWAL ECM PIN VOLTAGES TABLE. See Figure.

2 Brake Warning Light 10-15 When Brake Light Is Off

4 Valve Reset Switch 4-5 During Normal Driving

8 Stoplight Switch 0-0.5 With Pedal Released

9 & 10 Wheel Speed Sensor (1) 3.5 At About 20 MPH
11 ECM Ground 0 Normal Condition
12 & 13 Not Used - -
14 Power Supply (Ignition) 10-15 With Ignition On
15 Not Used - -
16 Power Supply (Battery) 10-15 At All Times
17 Dump Solenoid 0 Normal Driving
