Bench Testing: Brushes
- Check brushes for cracks. Measure brush length. Standard measurement is .43" (11.0 mm). Minimum length is .20" (5 mm). Ensure brushes slide smoothly in holders.
- If damaged or worn, replace brushes and brush holder. Install NEW springs when replacing brushes.
