Cruise Control Actuator Circuit Check

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect electrical connector at CC ECU. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between CC ECU electrical connector terminals No. 3 and 7. SeeFigure . Resistance should be 12-18 ohms.
  2. If resistance is not within specification, check wiring and electrical connectors for related wiring circuit. See appropriate wiring diagram under WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair wiring or electrical connectors as necessary.
  3. If wiring and electrical connectors are okay, check cruise control actuator. See CRUISE CONTROL ACTUATOR  under COMPONENT TESTING.
